In technical solution sales, the team typically consists of a sales rep (Account Executive) and an engineer (Solution Architect or Sales Engineer). These teams work together to close projects that are often part of critical infrastructure or software. These projects have many technical details, require professional services to deploy, and carry post implementation services such as managed services or manufacturer support.
These teams typically sell IT infrastructure or software into enterprise accounts: Hospitals, Schools and Universities, Manufacturers, Banks, Mining, City / County / State Governments.
